I have made this Cardigan using King Cole Big Value Super Chunky Yarn. I chose King Cole Big Value in order to keep the costs down and make this kit as accessible as possible for all. You can use any Super Chunky Yarn. You could even use a Chunky Yarn, but you would have to check measurements/tension.
The pattern has been released by JW Anderson for free. The link is below. It is a one size - oversized garment. The Harry Styles Cardigan - Pattern by JW Anderson A Free Download
The Kit contains the colours as featured in the pattern. However, the Green is not Grass Green as seen in Harry's cardigan. It is a muted mix of Green and Blue. This brand did not have a Grass Green.
4 x 100g of Red
4 x 100g of Black
4 x 100g of Green
3 x 100g of Orange
3 x 100g Yellow
1 x 100g Blue
3 x 100g Aran Comfort Red for the Ribbing
It all comes in a Katia Tote bag to keep it all together.
The Kit is just the yarn. It does not contain your 8.00mm needles or buttons to finish.
The Red, Orange, Black and Blue version, I knitted. However, when I sewed the garment up I purposely missed out a few panels to make a more fitted 'bomber jacket' style. For more information on this garment watch my Youtube Vlog episode'Harry Styles Cardigan - Bomber Jacket Style'
The Grey, Orange and Blue version was knitted by my friend Colin and is that actual garment size. To see this in reality and to be able to compare it to my version for size watch an earlier version on my Youtube channel.'Harry Styles Cardigan - As Pattern Oversized Fit'
