Yarn Food Sock Wash is expertly designed for knitters to effectively clean, nourish and preserve hand knitted or crocheted socks so that they last longer.
In addition to the gentle no-rinse formula, antimicrobial tea tree oil is added as a natural antidote to bacteria, fungi and odour, while lanolin feeds moisture back into the fibres. This way your socks will stay fresh, fluffy and in shape for longer.
FRAGRANCE: Tea tree oil has a crisp and clean note which subtly enhances your spirits as you go about your day feeling fresh from head to toe.
HOW TO USE: Fill a sink or basin with one gallon, or 4.5 litres, of cold
or lukewarm water. Add 3 pumps (5 ml) of Yarnfood Sock Wash and soak your socks for 20 minutes. Gently remove from the water, squeeze without wringing, and roll up in a towel to squeeze the remaining water out. Lay out flat or block to dry.
Washing machine: Suitable for regular or HE machines. Add 9 pumps (15ml) into detergent drawer or directly into the machine. Wash on wool or delicate cycle following your yarn’s care instructions.
