(2\/12ysw) 309m\/338yd to a hank.  Woollen spun.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe 2026 Collection:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eNow in its 6th year, The Lavenham Blue Collections are a collaboration with local farms and shepherds.  This year I worked with Shimpling Park Farm in Suffolk.  There are 150 hanks available in this collection.  This is our unique Type 1 base. When I dye with woad, I tend to get two main shades of blue and I call these 'Denim Blue' \u0026amp; 'Sky Blue'.\u003cbr\u003eI can get a dark denim but these are often rare as they take so much woad up and is hard to get compared to using Japanese Indigo (Persicaria Tinctoria). I can then also get an Aqua - a pale turquoise colour.
